The Probation Services Department is anchored by one traditional unit with supervision of all areas of the county. This is where all cases start when a youth is placed under supervision. It is this unit’s job responsibility to determine the case plan that will best address the risks/needs of the youth and link them to such services/programs. The unit supervises youth with all levels of offenses and risk levels. This unit consists of 8 Traditional Probation Officers, an Administrative Assistant and a Supervisor. The average caseload per probation officer working in a traditional unit in 2019 was 24.
